Sun safety a burning issue for Hull MP

Jun 30, 2005

Hull North Diana Johnson MP had her skin checked at a special Molewatch clinic organised by Cancer Research UK yesterday (29th June) and backed the campaign for sun safety. The clinic, staffed by dermatologists and specialist skin cancer nurses, was held to promote skin cancer awareness and the importance of SunSmart behaviour this summer. Diana Johnson said: “With summer upon us we all need to remember the importance of staying safe in the sun. The shocking fact is that sunburn can double your risk of skin cancer. It is important to avoid getting sunburnt.
