Hull MP names firm in Hull over poverty pay

Hull North MP Diana Johnson today named a firm, with a factory in Hull, over the alleged use of migrant labour to undercut pay for local workers.

Speaking in Business, Innovation and Skills Questions in the House of Commons, Diana Johnson MP asked Ministers: “The Sunday Mirror reported that Greencore, who have a factory in Hull, are recruiting 300 Hungarians to undercut local job-seekers and are also at this time resisting a 6 pence an hour pay increase.
