Petition against NHS Cuts

The NHS will be forced to make cuts unless the Chancellor increases its budget. That's not my opinion; that's what Simon Stevens, the Chief Executive of the NHS, is saying.I'm not surprised. Figures out last week show that more than 400,000 patients have been waiting at least 18 weeks - the highest number since September 2008. A&E waiting times are also on the rise and half of NHS hospital trusts missed vital cancer targets. This is even before the inevitable strains of winter. On November 22nd the Chancellor Phillip Hammond will present his next budget. Now is the time to try to put pressure on him to give the NHS budget bailout it desperately needs.I, along with other MPs, will be lobbying the Government in the weeks leading up to the budget. Next week I'll be writing to the Chancellor to urge him to revise upward NHS budgets. Will you add your name to this letter? Having the support of my constituents helps make my case stronger.Let me know below.
