Hull MP demands new industrial policy for Britain

With Labour's Leader today visiting Tata steelworkers in Scunthorpe, where jobs are under threat, Hull North MP Diana Johnson demanded an industrial policy "for our country" from the Government.
Speaking in Business Questions, Diana Johnson MP asked the Leader of the House of Commons Chris Grayling: "Three years ago Hull's caravan manufacturers had to fight off the Caravan Tax, which would blight their industry.
"Now we've got the Government buying steel from the Chinese and the Swedish and I wondered if it was about time that we had a debate in this House about an actual industrial policy for our country and not every other country in the World?"
