Hull North MP Diana Johnson today asked the Prime Minister about the fall in prosecutions since 2010 of those sexually exploiting children - as police funding has been cut.This follows the Prime Minister yesterday designating child sexual abuse as a "national threat".Diana Johnson MP said: "Yesterday the Prime Minister rightly designated child sexual exploitation as a national threat."Sadly, the police are receiving more reports of abuse than ever before but there are fewer investigations and prosecutions than in 2010/11."In this time, 16,000 police officers have been cut.
