Diana Johnson MP today announced that she will be holding extra drop-in surgeries in coming weeks to hear more about issues that arose from Hull's recent flooding.
The Hull North MP also gave her backing to the 'Never Again' campaign launched by the Hull Daily Mail.
The drop-in surgeries will be held around the constituency to give an opportunity for constituents who wish to raise concerns with their local MP.
The confirmed surgery dates are:
Saturday 28 July at the David Lloyd Centre on Kingswood, 11am 3pm
Thursday 2 August at the Community Church, Newland Avenue, 3pm 6pm
Saturday 4 August at Bransholme Library, 10am -12 noon
Diana Johnson MP said "Over the past three weeks, I have been out and about in flood affected areas listening to as many local people as possible about how the flooding affected them. Hearing these experiences has been very helpful as I have been making representations on behalf of constituents to organisations such as Yorkshire Water.
"In order to hear from even more Hull North people about their experiences, and the difficulties that many still face, I will be holding a series of special flood drop-in surgeries.
"It is also vital that we all learn every possible lesson from the floods. I therefore give my full support to the 'Never Again' campaign."
