Hull MP opposes plan for slower TransPennine rail journeys to Hull

Hull North MP Diana Johnson has opposed plans for slower TransPennine rail journeys to Hull in the revised timetable that commences in May.
 
Speaking in House of Commons Business Questions today, the MP stressed the importance to the Northern Powerhouse of faster East-West connectivity, Diana Johnson MP also supported efforts by Hull and Humber Chamber of Commerce to secure an early meeting this month with TransPennine Express to discuss the timetable issue.
