Hull MP slams latest delay in phasing out the North's 'knackered' Pacer Trains

Speaking in the House of Commons, Hull North MP Diana Johnson attacked the latest delay in the replacement of Pacer Trains in Northern England.
 
The Labour MP compared the delays to investment in the North to the billions spent improving transport in London and the South East on schemes such as Crossrail.

MP raises concern about management of Hull Paragon Station

Hull North MP Diana Johnson told the House of Commons about the multiple failings of the management of Hull Paragon Station by TransPennine Express.
 
The latest issue to arise was the closure of the Anlaby Road entrance to the station from 9.30 to 16.30 each day, without proper consultation with local disability groups and others, in response to anti-social behaviour from a minority.
