Diana Johnson MP visited the Siemens wind turbine factory site at Hull's Alexandra Dock.
 
Siemens £310m investment in Hull follows a long local campaign to bring wind turbine manufacturing to Hull and the Energy Estuary.
 
The MP is now battling for the Government to support the development of green energy in the Humber and to help ensure export access to the EU Single Market.

Hull MP welcomes local Hull inquiry into baby ashes scandal

The Government has agreed that there should be an independent inquiry into historic practices relating to infant cremations in the Hull area.
 
This comes after a campaign lasting more than a year led by Hull North family Tina and Mike Trowhill and Hull North MP Diana Johnson.
