Diana to fight Hull North for Labour

Diana Johnson has been over-whelmingly selected in a One Member, One Vote ballot of Hull North Labour members to be Labour's Hull North candidate at the next General Election.

The result was announced following a meeting this evening at Hull's Guildhall.

Diana Johnson commented: "I always knew that the majority of Hull North members backed me - just as they did in 2004, 2010, 2015 and 2017.

"Now we need to get on with the job of preparing for a General Election and kicking out the Tory Government."
